Karbon’ architecture et urbanisme

Denis and Sandrine were living in Rue de la Vignette/Kleine Wijngaardstraat in Auderghem/Oudergem and were looking for a bigger house. There was a plot available just opposite their home, so they hired architects Karbon' to design a house adjoining their back garden. The resulting wooden structure enabled them to live in a house that was good for both them and the environment, with its use of bio-based and reclaimed/recycled materials, including straw bales, clay plaster, reused facing bricks, adhesive-free timber and load-bearing floors.

This project is a be.exemplary 2018 winner.
