Rasquinet park – visit-exchanges with the public

Enclosed by a rather anonymous housing block located on the former site of the Rasquinet family factory of bicycle pedals, this remarkable open pavilion forms a strong contrast with its immediate surroundings. It acts as a generous space for multifunctional use and has become a place of intimate gathering for the neighborhood. Consisting of an oversized concrete roof structure resting lightly on four steel pillars, the collectively used space is defined by its cover. The expressive structure scenographies natural cycles and social activities in the surrounding park.
During this visit, participants will be invited to react and exchange with the guide and other participants on the topic of open spaces for social gathering.
