Parckfarm is a recycled greenhouse, which originally served as a temporary installation during the Brussels Parckdesign festival in 2014. The site and spaces proved so popular with residents and users that the building was retained as a permanent structure in the Tour & Taxis park. The basic ethos behind this project is building together, using natural and recycled materials.

Earlier this year, students on the Building Beyond Borders postgraduate course gave the project an upgrade using, among other things, local clay bricks, recycled wood and recovered textiles. Through workshops and debates, visitors, local residents and architecture students were closely involved in the construction process.
