iMAL – visit-exchanges with the participants

iMAL (interactive Media Art Laboratory) gives space to the development of digital culture and technology with exhibition spaces, residency spaces and a FabLab. Located in a former factory, the architects chose to intervene through modest interventions, but with a clear distinction between the old and new, giving the most importance to the center where the relationship between the different functions can be celebrated. Because of its broad educational program, iMAL opens itself towards the encouragement of social inclusion, becoming a house for sustainable development for the local community of Molenbeek.
During this visit, participants will be invited to react and exchange with the guide and other participants on the topic of contemporary spaces for learning, transmission and knowledge exchange.
The visit on 11.10.2020 at 15:30 will be guided by the architect Valentin Piret.
