On Sunday 17 October you are welcome to visit exceptional projects and design firms throughout Flanders and Brussels in the framework of the Dag van de architectuur (D/a). Some 100 buildings and 40 offices will open their doors for an exceptional view behind their facade. The central theme is 'In transit'. Dag van de architectuur (D/a) (D/a) also marks the end of the Festival van de architectuur (F/a), which this year runs from 14 to 17 October.

During the Dag van de architectuur (D/a), more than 100 buildings and design firms open their doors. The perfect opportunity to take a look at inspiring and unusual private homes, schools, care facilities and companies. But also to take a look at the design of public places you might have passed many times before. Many of the public buildings have guided tours that give you a look behind the scenes.

Architecture in your neighbourhood
Looking for interesting projects in your neighbourhood? Check out the list of locations per province on the festival website. On the website, you will also find more information about what exactly is on offer at the various locations. At some buildings or architectural offices, you can take part in guided tours, attend lectures and see exhibitions. At each location, children can enjoy an activity booklet that introduces them to architecture on their own terms.
