Workshop "Assemblée matérielle"
Rediscover space by playing with the existing environment.
The intergenerational workshop "Assemblée matérielle" offers an exploration of the potential of reused materials to create temporary structures that interact directly with architecture. Using ropes, ratchet straps, and assembly systems, these elements, often seen as waste, become essential components in the transformation of space.
This workshop highlights the ability of materials, sometimes bearing extraordinary stories, to reinvent the places they inhabit. Far from being simple constructive elements, they become actors in a dialogue between the past and the present.
Led by Marion Aeby, artist-designer, and Colin Roustan, member of Gilbard, this workshop combines expertise and inventiveness. Marion, who reinvents old hot air balloons into floating installations, and Colin, who is involved in creating local projects from reused materials, will guide you through this innovative exploration where assembly redefines architecture.
