Modular housing for people experiencing homelessness – Sweet Home

The Sweet Home project arose due to the lack of facilities in Brussels for people experiencing homelessness. Given the insufficient supply of conventional housing, Infirmiers de Rue (Street Nurses) decided to create their own housing units. With the help of the Temporary Housing department at citydev.brussels, the first six sustainable and modular units were set up on a site in Forest/Vorst. During the tour you will learn more about this great project and see how it is growing and developing. Other stakeholders will also come and talk to us about their solutions for helping people experiencing homelessness to be better housed in the Belgian capital.

The guided tour will be led by:

  • Maxime Bonaert, Project Manager, Infirmiers de Rue
  • Didier Ledocte, Temporary Housing Coordinator, citydev.brussels
  • Luc Schuiten, Archi Human

Practical information
