This project fundamentally questions the ways in which people live together in the city. 29 families wanted to oppose the expensive rents in the urban environment. After looking at 19 possible construction sites, they found a plot of land between two streets with a garden in its centre. By building a lot themselves and working without an investor, they managed to stay well below the market today's average housing prices. The prices for the flats have been adjusted according to their size and to their floor level - so that the group can be as diverse as possible. Each housing unit was designed to be as adaptable as possible to its occupant’s requirements, while a number of collective facilities reach out to the entire neighbourhood. A great story about how to live in community!

The visit on 11.10.2020 at 14:00 will be guided by the architect Serge Fraas accompanied by a local resident.
