AG Insurance decided to modernise the ground floor of their office building on Rue du Pont Neuf/Nieuwbrug to set up an training and meeting centre. The project submitted by evr-architecten squarely addressed AG Real Estate's desire for sustainability that goes far beyond merely saving energy. The architects' design directs light deep into the building, deploys a rainwater recovery system, leverages recycled materials from the building itself and the outside world, focuses on the origin of raw materials and, above all, ensures that biodiversity is right at the heart of this dense city block in downtown Brussels. As a result, the AG Campus won a be.exemplary prize in 2019.
